To All Our Mothers
We here at GRACE CHURCH are thrilled to welcome all mothers today in addition to everyone else who has chosen to worship with us!
While we live in a world that focuses on what we do, I once heard a powerful quote I thought I would share which goes like this; “Your greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do, but someone you raise.”
Most Mothers feel like there is never enough time in the day to “do” all the things they need to do, but I like the wonderful scripture in the Word that reminds us that there are times we need to just “be still” in His presence. Psalm 46:10a – He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
This verse doesn’t mean that we can’t worship Him with our voice, but it simply means to take all the things and situations that concern us, and lay them at His feet, then begin to focus on the realization that He’s bigger than any mountain you’re facing today!
We honor and appreciate our Mothers and are reminded once again that there was only ONE perfect person who ever lived and His name is Jesus Christ.
As we spend time in His presence today in worship, why not bring those things that have weighed heavy on your heart to Jesus, then look to Him who is the author and finisher of our faith?
No, God doesn’t want any of us to stop “doing”, but we must recognize the importance of “being” who God wants us to be before we can even begin to do what He wants us to do.
Let’s worship Him together!
You are loved, appreciated, and cherished!

We Love and Appreciate You
